Unless otherwise stated for a particular class, the classroom phase of the course is held in the Widenhouse Building in the rear grounds of Epworth United Methodist Church, 103 Burrage Road, Concord, NC 28025. The shooting portions of the courses will be conducted at Eagle Guns and Range, 3789 Roberta Church Road, Concord, NC 28027.
NO! The course only satisfies the “training aspect” of the permit process. Your county Sheriff’s Department processes your application. Before the Sheriff will consider your application, you will be required to submit to fingerprinting and a background check. Please check your county Sheriff’s website for an up to date list of “disqualifiers”. There are NO REFUNDS for the course even if you are denied a CCH Permit. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure they are qualified to obtain a permit.
NO! There is a written examination and course of fire that must be passed before a training certificate can be issued. That said, we will make every effort to assist you in achieving your goals. Please keep in mind that carrying a concealed handgun comes with great responsibility. Responsible firearm ownership is serious business. To that end, apathy, recklessness and clownish behavior will not be tolerated in the class or on the range. You will be asked to leave and there will not be a refund of the class fees.
Due to the cost of holding your reservation, materials, certificates, etc., we do not offer refunds. But, if a circumstance beyond a student’s control occurs, we will offer a “make-up” class at no charge to be completed within a year at no charge.
